A ONE-DAY EXPLORATION OF INNOVATIVE IDEAS FOR NORTHWESTERN BC FOREST MANAGEMENT
Join us for a one-day workshop as experts in the forest sector and beyond explore innovative solutions for forestry in the future.
This full-day workshop kicks off with a keynote address from Dr. Garry Merkel, co-chair of the Provincial Forestry Advisory Council which recently released its report, From Conflict to Care: BC’s Forest Future.
This sets the stage for a series of presentations on innovative forest practices, and panel discussions including Indigenous perspectives on the future of forestry and a cross-sector panel exploring the feasibility of implementing new ideas.
